Once you read this, you may be surprised or strange, but this is not a mere fantasy, nor it is the thing being said in the air, but a certified truth. Buddhism has a direct influence on Christianity and Jesus Christ came to India in search of wisdom after being accustomed to rituals in Judaism and attracting Buddhism, getting popular around the world for its principles. He had acquired knowledge in this God-land and the same knowledge he has said in the Holy Bible (New Testament by Jesus Christ). The knowledge that Jesus Christ has described in the Bible has been received from Buddhism. That is to say, India’s imprint on Christianity is through the Bible.

The birth of Christianity-

The oldest religions of the world are only three – 1. Hinduism 2. Parsi / Zarathustra religion (the founder of the Zoroastrian/Parsi religion was Zarathustra, hence it is also called Zarathustra religion) and 3. Judaism. Hindu and Persian originated among Aryans, and Judaism originated among ‘Sami’ castes. The third ancient religion, Judaism rose Christianity and Islam. The history of Judaism is about 4000 years old.

The special thing is that just as Buddhist religion was born from ancient Vedic religion, so Christianity was born from Judaism. The second important thing is that in India, the father (Vedic religion) exiled the son (Buddhism) from India, but in Palestine, the son (Christian religion) demolished the father (Judaism).

Similarities in Vedic religion and Judaism-

Similar to Vedic religion, Judaism also describes Yagya and tendency primary. Just as there is the importance of yajna and no idol worship in Vedic religion, so the Jewish people are also not idolaters. The main duty of Judaism is to offer animals or other objects in the fire and follow the rules stated by God.

Note – In the ancient Vedic religion of Hindu religion, there is no provision of idol worship. In India idol worship has started from the mythological period. That is, the origin of Hindu religion has the provision of yajna, not idol worship.

There are basically two parts of the Vedas – 1. Karmakanda (Rituals Section) 2. Gyankanda (Knowledge Section). The best part of the Vedas is ‘Upanishad’ under the Knowledge section, in which there is a vast reservoir of knowledge. It is known to all that “Shrimadbhagwadgita” is read all over the world in order to attain the spiritual knowledge; in reality, Gita is the essence of the ‘Upanishads’. That is, Lord Sri Krishna gave Arjuna the wisdom of the Upanishads, which was named ‘Geeta’. So, the existing knowledge in the Upanishads can be imagined. Buddhism has emerged from this knowledge path of Upanishads. Similarly, Christianity is also an improved form of Judaism. Buddhism was born about 600 years ago before Christianity. In Judaism, there was no knowledge path, similar to the Upanishadas existing in the Vedas. Jewish thinkers were only tired of rituals. They were looking for wisdom. At this time, Buddhism arose from Vedic religion was getting popularity worldwide due to its wisdom.

Christianity’s seed in Judaism –

No theory from any religion emerges suddenly, any new principle has some background. Like Buddhism did not come directly from Vedic religion. Firstly, knowledge spread in the form of Upanishads, then the rise of Buddhism by the way of that knowledge, in the same way, Christianity did not come directly from Judaism. About four hundred years after the birth of Buddhism and about two hundred years before Christ, a cult of ascetics, raised in the Jewish religion. Buddhism had a direct influence on this cult, as opposed to violent rituals like animal sacrifice till then. Buddhism was being popular around the world due to its non-violence, truth, ‘Ashtangik path’, ‘Nirvana’ etc. It was similar to nectar for all the spiritual wisdom-thirsty people. The cult used to spend time in God-contemplation sitting in a quiet place. They abstained from alcoholism, opposed violence, and lived in the monastery with the ‘Sangha’. According to Western scholars, this inspiration of asceticism in the Jewish religion has been given by the followers of Pythagoras. But this is an incomplete truth. It is true that Pythagoras had a great effect of Indian ideology, but there are so many similarities between Christian religion and Buddhism that it appears to be a direct influence of Buddhism.

Similarities in Christianity and Buddhism –

Principles and practices  Kindness, non-violence, hatred of sins and love sinners, the behavior of a pity, asceticism, living in monasteries of saints and wearing a long cloak are all such things which were practiced by Jains and Buddhist monks. These principles were adopted by Christianity.

Similarities in the life of Jesus and Buddha – there is a unique similarity in the life of Jesus and Buddha. Prior to attaining ‘Buddhatva’, Buddha had to face many kinds of difficulties; and Satan tried many ways to seduce Jesus. Jesus had fasted forty days before the achievement. Buddha had fasted 49 days till attained the ‘Buddhatva’. Buddha uplifted the robber ‘Angulimal’ and made the prostitute ‘Ambapali’ a sanyasini. Similarly, the stories of the absolution of the thieves and prostitutes, who came to the shelter by Jesus are also popular.

The cross of Christians is the Aryan ‘Swastika’ –

Yes. The sacred cross in Christians is not a gibbet but rather ‘swastika’. No community can make a thing the religion sign which is the cause of its revered great man’s  death. In the words of renowned Indian poet and essayist Ramdhari Singh Dinkar, “The cross considered by the Christian people as a sign of gibbet, but it is nothing but a Swastika symbol. Indians from Vedic and Buddhism had been considered Swastika sacred and auspicious since hundreds of years ago before Jesus Christ. It is no wonder that Swastika’s publicity has already been preached in all the countries before Christ. Done icon Dry religion. Then the same sign became the sign of Christianity.”

The birth and development of Christianity have taken place in the direction of Buddha’s theories. It is not surprising because it has been certified that in the area where Christianity originated, there was the arrival of Buddhist monks from the very years ago of Christ.

Jesus Christ’s arrival in India –

It is possible that the attention of the Buddhist monks or the Buddhist monks who came to that area in the region of Aceen were attracted to India, and they came to India in the search of greater knowledge to bring the birthplace of Buddhism to India.

Bal Gangadhar Tilak has written in the supplementary section 7 of his famous composition ‘Geeta Rahasya‘ –

“In the text of a Buddhist monastery in Nepal, it is a clear description that at that time, Jesus came to Hindusthan and there he had knowledge of Buddhism. This text was taken by a Russian named Nicholas Notovitch. He published its translation in French in 1894 AD. “

About this, Swami Vivekananda has said that –

“There was a book written a year or two ago by a Russian gentleman, who claimed to have found out a very curious life of Jesus Christ, and in one part of the book  he says that Christ went to the temple of Jagannath to study with the Brahmins, but became disgusted with their exclusiveness and their idols, and so he went to the Lamas of Tibet instead, became perfect, and went home.”                 – Swami Vivekananda

In this matter, It has been said that Jesus was disappointed with the idols of Brahmins, Swami Vivekananda denied it-

” To any man who knows anything about Indian history, that very statement proves that the whole thing was a fraud, because the temple of Jagannath is an old Buddhist temple. We took this and others over and re-Hinduised them. We shall have to do many things like that yet. That is Jagannath, and there was not one Brahmin there then and yet we are told that Jesus Christ came to study with the Brahmins there. So says our great Russian archaeologist.”                   -Swami Vivekananda

Swami Vivekananda says that the Jagannath temple mentioned by the Russian scholar was a Buddhist temple at that time that was later made Hindu temple. The time when Christ came, then that was a place of Buddhist monks in that temple, there was not even a Brahmin.

It is possible therefore that after learning from Buddhist monks in that Buddhist temple, Christ had gone to Tibet for more knowledge and after acquiring full knowledge of Buddhism there he returned to his place. Or if we accept Russian scholar’s words, Judaism was also full of rituals like the Vedic religion. Therefore, The path of knowledge he was in search of, other than the rituals, he found that only in the Buddhist religion of Vedic religion in India. Let us tell you that Buddhism is born from the path of the extract of knowledge of “Upanishads”  originated from Vedic religion. That is, Buddhism is the son of Vedic religion. It is certain from the statements of Russian scholar and Swami Vivekananda that Jesus gained his knowledge on the path of Buddhism in India. Jesus Christ gave this knowledge to the world in form of ‘Bible’

Swami Vivekananda had said in his speech that “People often forget that Jesus was Asian, they show the eyes of Christ blue and hair yellow in pictures, but nothing comes from it. Images, scenes, tendencies, poetry, and symbols in the Bible, they belong to Asia, belong to the Eastern world. The sky of the Bible is bright, there is heat in its environment, the sun relates to the desert in it, it includes thirsty men and creatures. Wells mentioned in the bible, from which males and females come to take water from far villages – they all views are related to Asia, not Europe.”
